From Beth: Ran into my former mid-wife at Hobby Lobby today. When I told her my dd was just learning to sew she got all excited and said you have to go to the Original Sew & Quilt Show at the Gwinnett Civic Center. We looked it up and it looks amazing. From Beth: Sewing has become so exciting - we want to share it with everyone! Mom (Beth) got us going with a new blog - but Cherith and Miss Ruth will be adding their comments. Miss Ruth is Cherith's wonderful teacher. We heart her!!

Lesson 1 was pretty exciting. We had a huge issue to overcome with the sewing machine - they spent a lot of time trying to figure out if either of my old machines could or would work. No, neither one would work out in the future. They managed to get a lot done in spite of that!
